THE Wellington Choral Society will be performing Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” in their upcoming concert, on Saturday, March 29.

Set to take place at St John the Baptist Church in Wellington from 7pm, the famous ontario about the life of the Prophet Elijah will feature performances from David Davies on the organ and baritone singer, Julian Rippon.

A representative of the Wellington Choral Society said: “The choir are delighted to be singing Mendelssohn’s Elijah this season. It is a wonderful choral work with both dramatic and quieter moving choruses sung by the choir and the soloists.”

Tickets are £16 and free for under 18s, and can be purchased on the door, from a member of the choir, or online at www.wellingtonchoralsociety.org.uk
