Tim Potter's butcher shop can now add yet another award to its name after bagging the gold in the Taste of the West contest.

The family run Fore Street butchers shop is no stranger to commendation - in 2019 they bagged eight gold awards at the English Fair, and in 2020 deli manager Katie topped the Women In Meat Industry Awards. - to name a few.

The popular business will be pleased to add a fresh award to its trophy shelf, having now taken the gold in 2023's Taste of the West competition. A competition spokesperson praised the family firm as 'outstanding.' They said: "I can’t really say much more. I have already gone out of my way to recommend Potter’s to other in the world of food.

"I was seriously impressed. You need to trust your butcher, but you also need to have the quality of the product coming through on the plate and they excelled in both areas - nothing let them down.

"A true Gold and worthy of being part of the Taste of the West family. Outstanding!"
