THE lease of ‘The Pub’ in Wellington, which closed earlier this year, is set to go on the market for £17,500 per year.

The property is now on the market with Miller Commercial, who confirmed the cost would “likely” be £17,500 a year not including rates and utility bills.

Miller Commercial also confirmed the building will not have to remain in use as a pub and that all uses would be considered.

Mike Nightingale, a partner with the firm, said: “The landlord is prepared to be flexible and work with a new tenant regarding what they want. Typically we are agreeing 5 or 10 year leases with tenant only break options but as I said the landlords are prepared to be flexible.

“It is a spacious property and includes a large hall/store to the rear.”

The property is expected to be advertised online by the end of the week.
