Moving to secondary school is a key highlight in any child’s life and Court Fields has welcomed its new Year 7 cohort, who have settled well.
After a bespoke transition package at the start of September, students attended a transition camp at Ultimate Adventure Camp in Bideford for three days and two nights.
Head of Year 7 Mr Reed said: “It is a very important part of our transition to support students. We wanted to provide team building and bonding experiences, as well as the chance to try new activities and develop skills such as teamwork, resilience and creativity.
“Students took part in a wide range of activities, including high ropes, paddle boarding, ultimate wipe-out course, archery and shooting.”
Kelsie said: “It was so much fun – I got to try new activities and work with people I hadn’t worked with before.”
