Somerset West and Taunton's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9pm October 11 to 6am October 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 26 exit and entry slip roads closed for surveys, diversion for exit slip via, junction 25 and return, diversion for entry slip via, junction 27 and return.
• M5, from 8pm October 7 to 6am October 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 26, lane closures for surveys.
• A30, from 8pm January 2 to 5am December 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 8pm October 16 to 6am October 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 26 exit and entry slip roads closed for surveys, diversion for exit slip via, junction 25 and return, diversion for entry slip via, junction 27 and return.
• M5, from 8pm October 17 to 6am October 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 26 exit and entry slip closed for surveys, diversion for exit slip via, junction 27 and return, diversion for entry slip via, junction 25 and return.
• M5, from 5pm to 10pm on October 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 24 to junction 25, lane closure for barrier works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
