FAMILY and friends gathered at the Skylark at Chelston to celebrate the 90th birthday of Doreen Rymes.
Doreen, originally from Cornworthy, near Totnes, moved to South Street in Wellington in 1974 after living in Windsor.
She worked at Wellington School cleaning the boys’ dormitories before retiring at the age of 63.
Doreen, who now lives in Shute Row with her cats, has a son, Paul, and two grandsons.
