FIENNES House in Wellington, a residential home owned by national sight loss charity Seeability, has welcomed Taunton Deane MP Rebecca Pow.
Fiennes House, built in 2000, is for adults with sight loss and learning disabilities, complex needs, autism and behaviour that may be challenging.
It employs 53 members of staff and has about 15 volunteers to help with day-to-day activities for residents, including reading, cooking and fundraising.
Ms Pow met families of residents to hear first-hand about the invaluable care Seeability provides.
She said: “I was most impressed with this wonderful facility in the heart of Wellington and it was a pleasure to meet the staff and residents.”
