SAD Scouts at 1st Wellington Scout Group urgently need to raise £4,000 for a new floor at the Scout Hall.

Luckily, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts mostly meet outside during the summer term but the hall is still used occasionally.

A family bingo night will start the fundraising ball rolling on Saturday, May 14, at the Scout Hall with doors open 6.30pm and bingo starting at 7pm.

Tim Potter butcher will supply meat prizes and chocolate prizes are on offer for the first line completed in each game.

A raffle will be held and tea, coffee, squash and home-baked cakes will be for sale. Six games will be played over the course of the evening and wheelchair access to the event is available. Sponsors are also sought for future fundraising events.

The hall is also used for a few keep fit classes, birthday parties and other events for the community.
