WELLINGTON Probus Club is giving people the chance to visit the RNLI Training College at Poole in Dorset.

The trip includes a conducted tour of the college, seeing how the crews and lifeguards are trained, a visit to the world class sea survival centre and the famous wave tank and lifeboat simulator.

The club has a number of seats available on its coach, priced £22 plus £1 driver’s tip, for the trip on Thursday, September 8. The trip leaves the Rugby Club at 8am and includes tea or coffee on arrival with the afternoon free to explore the harbour area, visit local restaurants and cafes, and the shopping centre.
