Specialist dementia care charity, Reminiscence Learning, is starting the new year with a bang as they prepare to head into a busy fundraising February.
The nationally recognised charity, based in Tonedale, is set to launch its 'dance for dementia' monopole event on February 9.
The 'sounds of the 60s' themed event is set to be hosted at Wellington Football Club, where for £12.50 attendees can dance from 7.30 pm to 'late' with supper included.
And then on February 24 the charity are set to host their 12 hour dance-a-thon. The dance marathon will take place at Oake Village Hall, and includes a cash prize for the best 'team with a theme.'
A spokesperson for the charity encouraged residents to snap up their tickets before it is too late, saying: "These events always sell out very quickly so call or email through to the office to reserve your tickets now!"
