PRITEX, the Wellington-based manufacturer, has won a top ‘green’ award to the delight of managing director Gareth Jones.

The firm received the environmental awareness award at the Automotive Global Awards for Supply Chain as the company which had done the most to reduce the impact of pollution on the environment.

Top executives from the automotive industry were present at the ceremony at Claridge’s Hotel in London.

Mr Jones said: “I’m delighted to accept this award on behalf of everyone in the company. We produce some fantastic products for many of the world’s top car companies and we are always looking for new ways to reduce waste and our carbon footprint.”
