A MAN was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a Vauxhall Corsa ended up in a hedge on the A38 near Wellington this morning (Wednesday, November 6).
Police, fire crews and the ambulance service were called to the scene near the junction with Silver Street at around 4.30am.
Avon and Somerset Police said in a short statement: “A Vauxhall Corsa was found to have left the A38 near the junction with Silver Street, near Wellington.
“Officers attended alongside the fire and ambulance services and a man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening nor life-changing. He has since been discharged.
“A man aged in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink and has been released on police bail.”
