POLICE have launched an investigation after an air rifle was fired from a car into a residential property in a small rural village.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to assist with their inquiries into a report of a ‘drive by shooting’ incident in Bradford-on-Tone.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called shortly before 2.50pm on Wednesday, June 5, to Oake Road in Bradford-on-Tone that a suspected air rifle was fired at a house from a stationary car, which is believed to have been blue.
“A window was damaged in the incident. No one was injured.
“Inquiries are ongoing.”
