EXCITEMENT is building as the Wellington Arts Association (WAA) dives headfirst into rehearsals for their upcoming 50th anniversary pantomime - Jack and the Beanstalk.

For five decades, the Wellington Pantomime Group has delighted audiences with their blend of humour, song, and local talent, and this year’s show plans to be no different.

With the curtain set to rise in January 2025, the cast and crew are hard at work perfecting their performances, ensuring this milestone production will be one to remember.

The show, written in-house and making its debut, promises all the humour, magic, and audience participation that pantomime lovers expect. Director and cast alike are embracing the energy and fun of the production, with rehearsals filled with laughter and dedication.

More than 600 tickets have been sold to date for the anniversary production of Jack and the Beanstalk which will run from January 22-26.
