CLOSURES along the M5 are expected for the coming weeks amid ongoing concrete repairs.
Beginning on Friday, March 21, the M5 southbound will be closed overnight between junction 28 near Cullompton and junction 26 near Wellington. The closure will be in place from 9pm until 6am and traffic will be diverted via the A38 and B3181.
The same closures will be in place next week from Monday, March 24 until Thursday, March 27 for four nights.
The M5 northbound will then be closed overnight on Friday, March 28 and Monday, March 31 for the two nights. The closures will also be in place between junctions 28 and 26 from 9pm until 6am.
From 6am on Tuesday, April 1, the motorway will be fully open as usual with all traffic management removed.
