Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are set to perform at Vivary Park in Taunton this Summer.
The former Oasis guitarist and backing vocalist will be performing with his band on August 24 in Taunton's Vivary Park. The band's set will feature a number of Oasis classics in addition to newer material from the Birds.
Noel and his band will be supported by Indie rock group Ride, and others who have yet to be announced.
Noel formed the Birds in 2010 and has since had 4 Uk top 40 singles with the group. The open air Somerset performance will follow the release of the band's fourth studio album, Council Skies, in June.
Tickets to the event range from £49.50 to £60 and can be purchased at the Taunton Visitor Centre on Fore Street as well as online.
Children under the age of 16 are required to be accompanied by a ticket holding adult, and all children under 12 months can enter for free. Attendees are prohibited from bringing their own alcohol to the event but an on-site bar will be available.
Claire Kidger of concert promoter LCC Live, organisers of Live in Somerset, said: “Noel is a legend of the music industry, who along with his band, will take to the stage and deliver an array of classic songs from his career including hits Holy Mountain and It’s A Beautiful World alongside his exciting new releases and Oasis classics.
She added: “We’re absolutely delighted to be organising a third night for an already jam-packed bank holiday weekend for Live in Somerset. It will be a great night with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, who are a superb addition to our eclectic series of live concerts this summer!”
The performance is one of several to take place as part of the Live in Somerset. The Proclaimers will be performing on August 26 and McFly will appear on August 28.
