A NEW business is set to arrive on Wellington's High Street, taking up the empty space left by the old G J. Jamieson Jewellers.
Nigel Burrows, a local locksmith, is bringing his business to the town centre, where he is set to offer a range of services, including key cutting, emergency access and repairs.
The former Royal Engineer and BT worker has made the move after many years of providing a mobile locksmith service.
Commenting, Mr Burrows said his professional experience left him well placed to provide a 'high quality service.' He said: "The Military, Security and Engineering has given me an all round can do attitude to problem solving and getting the job done efficiently and to the highest standards.
"I am now expanding opening a shop selling products and offering the services from my new shop on the Wellington High Street. Offering free advice and guidance when booking security repairs or if a customer wishes to purchase items to fit themselves.
"The Shop will also offer a new service, engraving for trophies and awards, photo frames and gifts all available for purchase in the shop. Also key cutting and bench locksmith services including the order and preparation of high security locks, keyed alike locks and much more.'
'Call Nigel Locksmiths' will open for the first time on January 20, with opening hours of 10 am to 3 pm Tuesday to Friday and 9 am to 3 pm on Saturdays - in addition to Nigel remaining available for around the clock call-outs.
