The marriage of Benjamin Knowlman and Maria Kaye Berghorst took place on Easter Saturday in Twerton, Bath.

Benjamin grew up in Wellington and attended Wellesley Park Primary School and Court Fields School.

Benjamin and Maria, a USA citizen, met while at Bath Spa University in the Christian Union.

The wedding had eight groomsmen, including school friends, five bridesmaids and Julieta Sellick as flower girl.

The reception was held in the ballroom of Bath City Church and the honeymoon destination was a cruise to Norway.

The couple plan to live in Chicago for nine months where Benjamin will be an intern in a church.
