Local MP Rebecca Pow called into Wellington’s newest farm shop Moonbeams to lend her support to the business.

The family-owned farm and farm shop on West Buckland Road has been growing organically since it was launched in 2006 by Jez Pitman.

He has created a 100 per cent free range meat and a 100 per cent chemical and pesticide free farm.

The shop sells 15 types of different flavoured sausages, dry cured bacon, lamb, pork and a gluten free range, as well as housing a cafe serving home-cooked and hearty food.

It is open Tuesday- Saturday, 10.30am to 5pm.
