WESTCARS of Tiverton is celebrating after one if its “hard working” trainees scooped an award at Exeter College.

Monte Foxford won the accolade of Exeter College Automotive Apprentice of the Year 2024.

A Westcars spokesman said: “It was a fantastic evening and a very proud moment to discover that Westcars’ very Monte Foxford was nominated and won the incredible accolade of Exeter College Automotive Apprentice of the Year 2024.

“Monte has always demonstrated his ability to learn and passion to succeed in a professional but humble manner.

“This award could not be more deserving and we are all very proud of your achievements Monte.

“Exeter College certainly demonstrated their commitment and professionalism in this field of education.

“Thank you for a very special evening and well done Monte, you have demonstrated that where there is a passion and desire to succeed everything is possible.

“This really is a well deserved recognition of a hard working young man."
