WELLINGTON Rugby Club's senior side enjoyed mixed fortunes over the weekend.

Wellington gained a splendid 17pts-16 home win over title-chasing Okehampton in the Cornwall and Devon League on Saturday.

But the following day they met Somerset Premier leaders Burnham on Sea in the semi-finals of the Somerset Blackthorn Vase at North Petherton and lost 12pts-6.
