MINEHEAD Museum is set to reopen its doors for 2024 season and will hold an informal event to mark it.
The open morning will allow supporters, volunteers and new friends the chance to discover volunteering opportunities the museum is currently offering.
The museum is anticipating another busy season, which has previously recorded up to 10,000 visitors a season.
Exhibiting with limited space, the museum rotates exhibits to display more of the many donated exhibits. Back in 2023, the museum put together a fascinating collection of Royal exhibits to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
Last seasons exhibit’s included a hobby horse, Punch and Judy, a model pier and original entrance gate, Arthur C Clarke and ‘Keeping the Fizz’ to name just a few.
The open morning will take place on March 14 from 10.30am at the Beach Hotel. Tea/coffee and a warm welcome await.
