TRAFFIC on the M5 motorway was held in both directions for about an hour early on Monday (May 20) after a man was reported to be dangling from a bridge near junction 25.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary said officers and fire and ambulance crews attended a ‘concern for welfare’ report at about 4.35 am, after which a man was taken to hospital.
