Part of the M5 motorway near Wellington was closed following a crash.

At 10.30 am all northbound traffic between junction 27 to Tiverton and junction 26 to Wellington was being held back.

Traffic data from Google indicated slow to standstill traffic in the area.

National Highways have told road users to expect congestion to clear by around 11.30 am.

The crash is the third to take place on the M5 on Tuesday morning.

The motorway was later reported clear and traffic running.
