IAN Oliver had only just recovered from a football injury when he entered the London Marathon - but he completed the 26-mile run in four hours, five minutes.
Ian, 52, who manages a poultry hatchery, entered the marathon to support the Farming Community Network which is concerned with supporting mental and emotional wellbeing.
“Farming has one of the highest percentages of suicide and depression. My mum suffered with her mental health terribly,” Ian said.
So far, he has raised £7,000. Anyone wishing to donate can do so by going to https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/19665_8862479_15692.
