Firefighters have been called out to a flooded road near Wellington to rescue two people and a cat from a car stranded in flood water.
A spokesperson for Wellington Fire Station said: "Crews were called this morning to two vehicles stuck in flood water near Ash Overbridge.
"The incident commander made the decision to utilise our landrover (70M1) to rescue two occupants and their cat from their stranded vehicle. There are flood and road closed signs in place."
One photograph from the scene, above, shows two cars in the water past a flood gauge at the side of the road.
The person who sent in the photo said it was at Ash, near Nynehead.
Wellington Fire Station also posted pictures from the incident, and described as near the Ash overbridge.
A reporter is on their way to the incident.
