IF there was a league table for coronavirus cases and deaths, the UK would be near the bottom.
Not only were we slow to lockdown, the disease has spotlighted the lack of funding of particularly the NHS and social care.
And the true cost in monetary terms is going to be horrendous. Companies big and small will go out of business.
What is also worrying is what will happen to Brexit when this Government has made such a mess of dealing with the pandemic.
We were told striking trade deals outside the EU would be ’easy peasy.’
