A Wellington bridal shop is in the runnings to be named the 'best in the south west.'
Lara Belle Bridal, in Mantle Street, has made it through to the finals of the 2024 Wedding Industry Awards. The local business is battling to win the acclaimed title of 'south west wedding retailer of the year' - and if successful it would mark the second award for Belle Bridal this year alone.
In July Belle Bridal was named the 'best bridal store in Dorset, Somerset and Bristol' - and made the final 10 in a contest to be named 'best wedding outfitter' in the South West Wedding awards in early November.
Business owner, Faye Clarke, said finding the perfect dresses for brides-to-be was the fulfilment of a lifelong dream. She said: "Lara Belle Bridal was born through a lifelong dream of mine since I fell into the wedding industry back in early adulthood, being a part of someone’s big day is incredibly special, the happy couple allowing you in to one of their most important days of their life is truly an honor.
"Being a part of the planning was a great insight into working with brides, inspiring them through their day and pulling their dreams together. This flowed perfectly into my dream of fashion and witnessing the outpouring of positive emotions that finding the perfect dress has for my brides.
