A number of indoor five-a-side football games at the Wellington Sports Centre have been called off because of rain.
At fault is a leaky roof at the facility which leaves the playing area wet after a rainy spell.
One of the centre's four badminton courts has also suffered from leaks, with the area having been closed off after heavy showers.
Works to fix the roof and upgrade the facility are set to begin later this year.
It comes after the sports centre won a share of a £1.5 million grant to fund upgrades and to become more environmentally friendly.
The Somerset Council owned sports centre will become greener as part of a government scheme to make public buildings greener.
The programme should also see an end to any future indoor games being called off on account of rain.
