Actor Paul Danan had a cocktail of drugs in his system before he died, an inquest in Bristol has heard.
The tragic Hollyoaks star, 46, had traces of prescription and non prescription drugs, a coroner said.
An inquest into the death opened at Avon Coroners Court in Bristol yesterday (Tuesday, March 11).
It was adjourned following a preliminary hearing in which it was proposed the cause of death in Bristol on January 15 was a mixture of drugs including heroin.
No note was left by Mr Danan, it was heard.

He was found unresponsive by emergency services and his death was confirmed by paramedics at the scene.
He was initially identified by his partner Melissa Crooks, the inquest heard.
A post-mortem has taken place and samples were removed to investigate the cause of death.
Coroner Maria Voisin adjourned the inquest until a provisional final hearing of May 28.
Evidence will be finalised by the April 21 and reviewed on May 5.
Before his death Mr Danan was due to appear for a plea hearing at Warrington Magistrates Court in Cheshire after being charged with possession of drugs.
The actor was known for his appearances on reality television shows such as Celebrity Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother.
