New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 12 of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Sheila's Cafe at 3 The George Shopping Centre, Crewkerne, Somerset; rated on December 2
• Rated 5: Holm Restaurant at 28 St James Street, South Petherton, Somerset; rated on November 29
• Rated 5: The Bridge Bakery and Canteen at Amphora House, Westover Trading Estate, Langport, Somerset; rated on November 27
• Rated 5: Burger King at A303, Horton, Ilminster Somerset; rated on November 25
• Rated 5: The Clockspire Restaurant at Medleycott Centre, Gainsborough, Milborne Port, Somerset; rated on November 20
• Rated 5: The Village Cafe - East Coker at Unit 3 The Old Coach Yard, Main Street, East Coker, Yeovil; rated on November 20
