CHILDREN at Rockwell Green Primary School have been presented with Bibles from Bibles for Primary Schools, Wellington West.

The group fundraises through the year to give children their own copies of the Bible. All pupils from Year 2-6 were originally given their own copy of ‘The Children’s Bible’.

In addition, Year 6 children are given a copy of the ‘Rainbow Good News Bible’.

Any children new to the school are also given the relevant copies.

Peter Roberts, who regularly leads collective worship in the school, presents Bibles every year to the new Year 2s and 6s, with his wife Maureen and Olive Stearnes.
