New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

• Rated 5: The Cake Box Bakery at 18 Vicarage Walk, Yeovil, Somerset; rated on December 7
• Rated 5: Kitchen @ Chard at Chard Equestrian Ltd, Higher Purtington Showfield, Winsham, Chard; rated on December 6
• Rated 5: Long Sutton Golf & Country Club Ltd at Long Load, Langport, Somerset; rated on December 6
• Rated 5: Tumbles Gymnastics at Millfield Close, Chard, Somerset; rated on November 29
• Rated 5: KFC at Unit 8 Western Avenue, Houndstone Business, Yeovil; rated on November 28
• Rated 4: The Angel Bizaar & Cafe Ltd at Bow Street, Langport, Somerset; rated on November 16
It means that of Somerset's 949 similar establishments with ratings, 787 (83%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
