New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Shaamz Peri Peri at 5 Eastover, Bridgwater; rated on November 28

• Rated 5: Sweets Tea Rooms at The Barn, Turnpike C/O Chapel Farm, Blakeway; rated on November 28

• Rated 5: Taart at 85 Fore Street, North Petherton; rated on November 28

Takeaways

And two ratings have been handed to takeaways:

• Rated 4: Mayflower Chinese Takeaway at 5 High Street, Chard, Somerset; rated on October 30

• Rated 4: The Junction Takeaway at Yonder Hill, Chard Junction Quarry Road, Tatworth, Chard; rated on October 30
