New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Taunton Vale Sports Club Ltd at Taunton Vale Sports Club, Gipsy Lane, Staplegrove, Taunton; rated on March 5

• Rated 4: Taj Mahal Restaurant at 9a The Avenue, Minehead, Somerset; rated on October 2

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 3: Volunteer Inn at Old A303, Seavington St Michael, Ilminster Somerset; rated on February 13
