Fears of fly tipping have been calmed after it was confirmed the second green recycling skip at the Poole Tip in Wellington would return.
Wellington residents had raised concerns that the removal of one of the two green garden waste skips could provoke fly tipping in the area.
With Spring approaching residents had feared the amount of garden waste might threaten to exceed the capacity of a lone green skip.
However, Somerset Waste partnership, which manages the Poole site, has quashed fears after confirming the return of the metal bin.
A spokesperson for SWP said: "The second of the garden waste skips was temporarily came out of all our recycling sites at the start of January, but will be going back onto the sites in early April.
"They came out for those three months because of new regulations that meant we (and all recycling sites) needed to handle soft furnishing differently This has given us a bit of time to work out how we can best handle the soft furnishing separately on sites, with a better understanding of the volumes that come in."
One resident welcomed the return as "good news," and said: "I was worried about where I was going to put my waste because we've got quite a big garden."
