AN environmental expert will be giving a talk in Wiveliscombe this May exploring how local residents can help recover nature.
James Grischeff, director of Nature Recovery for Somerset Wildlife Trust, will be speaking at St Andrew’s Church, Wiveliscombe, on Thursday, May 15, on how the public can work together to deliver long-lasting nature recovery in West Somerset.
James has lived in Wiveliscombe for over 20 years, so is particularly conscious of the local environment, but his interests expand to international causes, including in Tanzania, China and Australia, where he has worked on conservation projects and policy.
Hosted by the Wiveliscombe Civic and Historical Society, ‘How Can We Recover Nature?’ will begin at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £5 and can be bought with cash on the door.
