THE classic farce by renowned English playwright John Dighton, The Happiest Days of Your Life, is coming to Bradford-on-Tone Village Hall.
The play depicts the complications that arise when, because of a bureaucratic error, a girls' only school is made to share premises with a boys' only school. The title of the play echoes the old saying that school days are "the happiest days of our lives".

The play first aired on BBC Television in 1947 and, following a one-night preview in the West End later that year, it officially opened at the Apollo Theatre in March 1948, enjoying a run of more than 600 performances.
The show will be performed on Thursday October, 10-11 and October 12 from 7.30pm.
