DON’T miss the create workshops which will be taking place at the Taunton Brewhouse.

People are invited to unleash their inner artist at this three-week workshop on creating contemporary landscapes with mixed media.

Join the workshop to explore various materials and techniques, from paints, mediums, and collage to stitching, all aimed at transforming canvas into a vibrant masterpiece.

Attendees will also learn how to make textured ‘gelli’ print collages, discovering new ways to combine colours and textures to add depth and life to their work. All levels welcome – just remember to bring an apron as it could get messy!

The workshop will be held from November 4 – 18.

The theatre will also host a two-week wreath-making workshop, using 100 per cent recycled, upcycled, and natural materials. People will go home with an eco-friendly holiday wreath.

With bases made from woven willow, cardboard, or even pool noodles, participants will create decorations using fabric scraps, conkers, pine cones, deconstructed jewellery, and more.

This workshop is a fantastic chance to turn “trash” into seasonal treasure and discover the art of upcycling just in time for the holidays.

The workshop will be held on December 9 and December 16.
