TICKETS are now on sale for this year’s Great British Fibre Festival which is set to take place at Coldharbour Mill this June.

Organised by Stitch Fest Craft Shows, The Great British Fibre Festival will return to the area from June 7-8 and will share the journey of yarn from farm to fashion.

The Great British Fibre Festival is not just your average yarn show; it's a celebration of British wool production and the incredible tapestry of crafts, fibres, creatives, and makers that contribute to its rich history.

Exhibitors in the 2024 festival include Allium Threads, Dawn Gill Designs and Halsbury Barton. More information about this year’s participants will be announced soon.

In addition to showcasing the latest yarn trends and handcrafted treasures, this festival broadens its scope to pay homage to the heritage of British wool.

At the Coldharbour Mill venue, attendees have the chance to travel through time. Through the mill exhibits and the chance to see the site’s machinery in production throughout the weekend, the festival reveals the fascinating evolution of wool production which has woven itself into the fabric of British culture.

The Coldharbour Mill Trust has a long term plan of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030, so this year the mill will run entirely under electric production, a more sustainable and modern way of working the machinery.

Tickets are now on sale for the festival which will take place from June 7-8 from 10am until 4.30pm at Coldharbour Mill.

Tickets for children under 7 are free and are half price for children aged 7-18 years. Free carers tickets are also available which should be booked at the time of booking a full priced ticket.
