PEOPLE in Wellington and the wider area are being invited to join the Taunton Deane Male Voice Choir which seeks new members.

Formally established in 1962, the choir consists of roughly 60 members, performing eight times a year, raising money for various charities. The concerts take place in and around Taunton and Wellington and the choir has travelled as far as France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Taunton Deane Male Voice Choir is encouraging men to join to “have the opportunity of singing in a concert.”

The next recital is set to take place on October 26 at St James Church, Taunton, with the Taunton Concert Bank, to raise money for armed forces charity SSAFA.

There are no auditions and rehearsals take place at Temple Methodist Church, Taunton.
