STUDENTS taking their GCSE exams this summer have been invited to take their textbooks to Odette’s Tearoom in the High Street to enjoy free sandwiches, drinks and a quiet space in which to study.

Business owner Toby Brimacombe said he was extending the offer to students because “not every home is great for studying, I didn’t have a great area I could use to study. Something like this would have really helped me when I was taking my exams.”

The tearoom will also be providing its wifi and even exam materials including past papers and stationary.

The offer is on between 5pm and pm Monday to Friday from June 3 until the last GCSE exam on June 19.
