WELLINGTON residents are being invited to celebrate the hard work by Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance by taking part in a life-saving skills event.

The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance team, who have offices based near Wellington, are excited to host a special event where people can learn new CPR skills and chat directly with the team.

The event, ‘Brew For The Crew’, will be hosted at the head office in Chelston Business Park in Wellington on September 12 at 9am.

The event is an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and support the life-saving work the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance crew do.

Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to learn CPR and learn how to use a defibrillator; life-saving skills that could prove invaluable in an emergency.

It could be one of the most important lessons people ever learn, equipping them with the knowledge to potentially save a life.

The team is looking forward to welcoming people to the event and hope they can learn more about the vital services crews provide, while contributing to a great cause.

Refreshments will also be available at the event.
