WELLINGTON Library is now playing host to a weekly crochet and knitting club, The Loop Troop.
Gathering every Monday from 3.45-4.45pm, The Loop Troop is the first official group of its kind in the town, offering locals the chance to work on their own knitting patterns or partake in projects to “give back”.
Founder Fiore Newland said: “I just wanted to do something to better the community and meet people with a shared interest in the hobby.
“My hope for this group is that we can make things together to give back. We’re currently making a garland which we want to give to the library as a thank you when it’s finished.”
