CANDIDATES vying to be the next Member of Parliament for Tiverton and Minehead are set to put themselves before the public in a ‘Question Time’ style event in Langford Budville’s Jubilee Hall.

Four of the five candidates up for election have so far confirmed their attendance, with the exception of the Conservative candidate, Ian Liddell-Grainger.

The hustings will see a number of pre-selected questions, as well as questions from the floor, put to candidates to answer.

Langford Budville parish councillor, Fiona Barber, said: “It is a great opportunity to have your say in an important election, put questions to candidates and see policies in action.”

The hustings will take place on Saturday, June 22, from 7pm to 9pm.
