SOMERSET author and former BBC producer is set to host an evening of insights on the nation’s favourite birds.
Best known as the producer of a number of TV shows fronted by the naturist Bill Oddie, Mr Moss has written a number of books and is a visiting fellow at Bath Spa University.
Reaching out to residents, organisers said: “Join us for an evening of insights into Britain's most beloved birds. Discover if your favourite feathered friend made the cut. This in-person event promises to be both educational and entertaining. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to delve into the world of birds with a renowned expert.
“The Friends of the Quantocks is celebrating 75 years this year and we’re delighted to welcome Stephen Moss, President of the Somerset Wildlife Trust, to talk to us about his passion for wildlife in our home county and beyond.
“A lifelong naturalist, Stephen has travelled to all seven of the world’s continents in search of wildlife.”
The event is set to take place on Saturday, July 6, in Crowcombe Hall, from 7.30 pm to 10 pm. It will include a chance to buy signed books and ask Stephen questions in a Q&A session.
