PUPILS and staff at Beech Grove Primary School in Wellington dressed up as their favourite book characters for the final day of term.
Children were able to choose which story they listened to and during the day the Friends of Beech Grove group held an Easter Egg Hunt for all the classes helped by the Year Six’s Wellington Ambassadors who acted as Easter
Bunnies.
The end of day assembly saw a competition to award the “best costumes” in each class along with the message of highlighting the importance of books.
The Year Six entrepreneurs announced the results of an Easter egg raffle and that it had raised a fantastic £110 to fund requests made by the School Council.
