DOT Willey has been celebrating her 104th year birthday with family and friends this week.

Dot, who still lives on her own in Wellington, is a avid-reader of World War One and Two books and autobiographies.

She has two children, Bruce and Georgia, and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Dot has lived on her own since her husband died about 40 years ago.
