THE annual Relyon employee reunion is set to take place again this November.

Former and current employees of the bedding firm Relyon Beds Ltd will reunite on Friday, November 29 from 2pm at the Wellington Football Club.

The event, which has proved popular over the past two years, is again being organised by Jeanette Bird.

She said: “Anyone who has worked for Relyon or Pritex – or still does – is welcome to come along.

“It’s a great way to catch up with former colleagues and talk about old times.”

Founded in 1858 by a Wellington family of wool merchants, the Price Brothers and Co. business developed 100 per cent wool mattresses.

Manufactured in Station Mills, the mattresses are currently sold in 300 independent retailers across the UK and in Europe.

The event costs £10 to attend, which includes a buffet, and all proceeds will go to St Margaret’s Hospice.
