COURT Fields School hosted its first successful Battle of the Bands event and opened its doors to parents, students and members of the public who joined to support the young musicians.

A unique opportunity to showcase the musical talent of the school’s students, Battle of the Bands included a range of performances from rock and pop to indie. The six-piece band Slowburne took home the title of ‘best band’ on Thursday, December 19,

A representative of Court Fields School said: “We had an amazing night at our first Battle of the Bands.

“The talent is fantastic and thank you to all the students and staff involved. A 'Rock On' evening.”
